Day 8 of the Burpee Challenge!

Then we’ll revisit the back squat: 5-5-5-5-5

• Grip

• Bar placement

• Stance and focus point

• Squat depth – safety and importance

• Hip Drive (raising the butt)

After we’ve nailed down the form we’ll add weight for each set until form is compromised.

Then a fun surprise “Met Con Mix-Up” for 20 min!

    Met Con Mix up was the hardest wod yet using many functions 30, 20, 10. Although I didn’t go around the orchard, I didn’t walk once and that’s a first for me! Topped my back squat weight at 100# and did an assisted handstand push up with a little help from our awesome coach – feeling really strong today Kaye!! Looking forward to tomorrow at the track!
