The holidays are right around the corner. Halloween is creeping up on us — that’s the start of a snowball of bad choices, potlucks, family parties and holiday vacations that ends around the New Year. Or even worse — it could last until Super Bowl.

We want to help you clean up your act now with a 60-day paleo challenge. It will kick off with an informational meeting Saturday at 9 a.m., which will debunk myths like, “Paleo is too hard/too strict/too expensive to follow.” The challenge will start Sept. 1. This means you only have a couple weeks to prepare. So whether you decide to go strict Whole 30, Paleo Plus, Paleo with one cheat meal, or just decide to cut out booze or processed food for a couple months — make a commitment with our accountability group, and see the results of self-discipline.

60-DAY PALEO CHALLENGE

• WHO: Open to all CFUM athletes

• WHAT: 60 days of commitment to cleaner eating, which will range from Whole 30 (most strict) to Modified Paleo (plans are customized)

• WHERE: Kick off meeting at the box

• WHEN: Informational meeting at 9 a.m. this Saturday at the box with handouts, shopping lists, some meal plans, etc.; Challenge starts on Sept. 1 and continues until Halloween
