HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SARA!

photo(769)Sara handles the 53# kettlebell like it’s NBD

Typically, brains and brawn don’t come in the same package. But Sara somehow got those gifts, and more. The Wrappily creator and Seabury Hall alumna is one of the smartest — and strongest — people we know. Her cleans, snatches, overhead squats, kettlebells, deadlifts and other weighted moves make the exercises look graceful, even easy. And behind the athletic achievements is a supermom who started her own eco-friendly gift wrapping company, which is thriving for its unique and charming aesthetic and its refreshing take on ways to conserve, reuse and recycle. Sara and husband Chris, who have two adorable kids, both attend the gym. Chris’ birthday was last month (and we lose sleep over forgetting to post on time because we have lots of good shots of this superhuman) and Sara’s is today. We’re grateful to have had Sara with us from the start of our time at CFUM. Since our transition, we’ve seen Sara do writing projects, social media work and launch her own beautiful company. It’s been a joy to chart her many accomplishments in and out of the gym, and we are excited to see all that’s in store for her during this new year. Thanks, Sara, for being a great role model. You inspire us to unwrap our own potential.
