Exciting Things!! Mon, Jan 30

There are lots of exciting things going on in the box…..

Most notably Jeff Tucker, The CrossFit gymnastics coach, will be arriving sometime this week in preparation for the gymnastics certification course taking place at our box this weekend. Jeff will be arriving a couple days early and with any luck will spend some time hanging out with us at our box. What a treat for us to shower this Texan with love and aloha!

Kinsey will be coming for a visit next month! Our paleo extraordinaire go-to-girl will be hosting an evening “Paleo For Everybody” session on Tuesday, February 22. This will be another informal paleo discussion/potluck with a very nominal fee of $10. Don’t miss it! Last time the food was incredible and the knowledge unequalled.

Take Your Pick! Sat, Jan 27

It’s been a GREAT week of WODs thanks to Coach Adams awesome programming! It would be a really sad thing if you missed any of them. So…. Saturday you get to choose!

Make Up Day or Make Up Your Own!

That’s right! Come in and choose from one of the fabulous WODs you may have missed (go ahead and do a Wendler make up day while you are at it!) But if that isn’t enough to get you excited then come in and make up your own WOD!  Really! Let’s see what YOU program for yourself. Hey, we might get some really great ideas here!

Welcome Todd! Fri, Jan 27

Aloha Todd who comes to us by way of Sin City CrossFit in Las Vegas. Todd is here on a work assignment and will be hanging out with us for a few weeks. He rocked the push jerks and burpees!

Get with the program!
If you didn’t receive your Wendler template (an excel spreadsheet) then ask Coach Kaye about it. We are continuing into our second month of the Wendler program and seeing awesome results! There will always be an opportunity for you to makeup the lifts you might have missed during the week. Try to stay on track.

Warm Up: Group warm up in Hali’imaile Park!

During your press sets alternate with front squats and work up to a 3 RM front squat
