9 a.m. class

Here’s the workout for Tuesday, June 5, 2012:

A. Skill

L-sit holds (retesting)

On first attempt, go for a max L-sit hold; then accumulate 2:00 in total L-sit holds, regardless of how many tries it takes. You may subtract your max attempt from 2:00. Find a partner who will time you, and do the L-sit hold work in entirety, then switch.

Advanced: L-sit with feet above third parallette (to be considered for the gym records board, you must use a third parallette below your feet to ensure that your feet don’t drop below parallel).

This hold starts strong, but dips around the 30 second mark. To be fair, his hold would have ended when his feet dipped below the parallette. Again, if you are going for a record, we will place a third parallette under your feet.

Intermediate: Tuck hold

This is a great modification.

Beginner: Hang from pull-up ring and tuck

* Regardless of your skill level, remember that you will get a workout in completing these holds. Stay strong and strengthen your core!

B. Metcon

15:00 AMRAP

15 American kettlebell swings (53 / 35)

12 burpees

9 knees to elbows

400 meter run
