We said goodbye to the father and daughter duo who trained with us for a month. They’re headed back to Massachusetts where Kyra will start her volleyball season. Thanks for making Upcountry Maui your part-time home!

CONGRATULATIONS, JOSH!
Our mobility master is official! He passed his CrossFit L1 Trainers Certification course, which involves a tricky two-hour written test and two days of training, held last weekend at Hardass Fitness on Oahu. We’re super proud of Josh, who has his bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He’s racked up certifications including: CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting, CrossFit Movement and Mobility, L1 and USAW. Not to mention, the guy’s got a 215# 225# (SORRY FOR TYPO, JOSH) snatch and a closet full of tie-dye gear. Great work, Josh (on your cert and athletic accomplishments — not on your fashion choices)!
