COUNTRY CHRISTMAS 2015

It was the first year we decided to put Santa in the box. And it turned out to be a Winter Wonderland success, thanks to a secret team of helpers, who took time out of their busy schedules to make Christmas happen.

The gym was transformed Friday into something straight from the north pole. Large lit-up lawn decor with snowflakes and white balloons filled the pull-up rig. Tables and chairs adorned with festive arrangements lined the locker area. And the metcon room was turned into a disco-ball dance floor. It was like nothing we’ve ever seen.

Then came the Upcountry friends and family, decked out in everything from flannel to cowboy boots to dresses and ugly sweaters. Of course, diversity is one of our best traits at CF Upcountry.

Highlights of the gift exchange included a coveted tan purse, a massage and a very detailed drawing by Kahone. Frank took on the likes of a talented emcee, giving details about each participant that was both endearing and hilarious.

Finally, the masters and a few others closed out the night with a dance party. Rumor has it that the last dancers left at 1 a.m.

We haven’t had this much fun in history. And we can’t thank each one of you enough for what you bring to our community (beyond your awesome potluck foods; your great personality, of course!).
