Friday, Aug. 24, 2018 – HURRICANE LANE UPDATES

HURRICANE LANE CLOSURES

We will remain closed until the official Hurricane Warning for Maui County is lifted. Due to the unique indoor / outdoor nature of our facility, which allows for pleasant breezes and cool training conditions during normal weather conditions, we are also uniquely vulnerable to the elements. We spent most of the day Wednesday and part of Thursday securing, covering and tarping equipment, as well as boarding up portions of the walls. As you know, our mauka-facing walls are not enclosed. They are comprised of crosshatch metal covered with fabric mesh, which leaves for no real protection from heavy rain. We appreciate your patience and your prayers for our humble barn box of a facility. Our schedule will coincide with other area businesses, governmental facilities and schools and remain closed during the hurricane warning. Check back for updates. We will open as soon as the warning is lifted. Mahalo and stay safe!
