Snatch practice! Thurs, Jan 27
This video should get you pumped up on practicing the snatch, the most difficult of the Olympic moves. Whether you have no aspirations of becoming an Olympic lifter, practicing the snatch will aid in developing great mid line stabilization.
Workout for Thursday:
Warm up: snatch practice with barbell and kettlebell
WOD: Another heavy metcon! We are taking the prowlers to the park across the street.
100m sprints x 8; rest 45 seconds between sprints
Then, in teams of 3 for 6 rounds
50′ prowler push
5 burpees
Rest until third teammate returns with the prowler
It was fabulous to see all those who missed the WODs on Monday or Tuesday stick around and do some make up strength work.
