A week from today — three CFUM teams will cover some serious ground. We will cheer on our masters women, along with our open men and women’s teams, during the Hana Relay, a six-person relay race from Kahului Airport to Hana Ball Park. Fifty-two miles gets super sweaty — especially when runners are wearing some wacky costumes. People fly in from all over to participate in one of the best-loved Valley Isle athletic events, spanning East Maui’s lush and windy roads. Not running this year? Set up a cheering station in Paia to watch our teams pass by. In the meantime, get an idea of what’s to come with some of the team costumes glimpses above.
