Monday, Sept. 3, 2018 – LABOR DAY

lots of firsts at aloha games.

Congratulations to our first team at the four-person CrossFit competition, The Great Aloha Games, at Aloha CrossFit in Wailuku. The crew, comprising all masters athletes, took 6th out of 23 standard teams from around the state. They took top spot in the first of four total workouts Saturday. We are so proud of this hard-working team; each athlete is a leader in different ways and a valuable part of our Upcountry family. Mahalo also to every person who came out, including Coaches John, Ron, Kaika and Jason. Team members kept saying how grateful they were for the support! And big thank you to Aloha CrossFit organizers and volunteers – it is NO JOKE to host a competition and your group ran things with professionalism and class. Saturday was a big, local CrossFit reunion of sorts, and it was nice to see all the familiar faces. Congrats again to all who participated and mahalos to everyone who made this second annual event a success!

Killed in the attack were CIA officers Jennifer Lynne Matthews, 45; Scott Michael Roberson, 39; Harold E. Brown Jr., 37; Darren LaBonte, 35; Elizabeth Hanson, 30; and security contractors Jeremy Jason Wise, 35, and Dane Clark Paresi, 46.
