Great having visitors from all over the states regularly join us! Thursday found Noel and David from CrossFit HEL, in Portland, OR, in the box. It was especially fun to see Noel push press as much weight as her husband! Way to go Noel!
Matt, from Potomac CrossFit in Arlington, VA, continues to wow us with his strength. His wife put him up to 135# push press and he persevered through the WOD. We look forward to having Matt a few more weeks! WOD: AMRAP 20 minutes;
Hope all the mom’s in the box had a fabulous (and delicious) Mother’s Day. What a perfect opportunity to have a cheat day right? Thanks to all of you who have expressed interest in helping put on this big event. Here are a few things we will need. If you can loan or gather any of these it will be greatly appreciated.
• Large ice chests
• Nice water coolers (we’ll pass on the orange igloo’s)
• Large buffet-type serving bowls, platters and chaffing dishes (preferably white or metal)
• Kiawe wood for the imu
• 10’x10′ pop up tents
• Camping tents, camping pads and bedding for off island visitors
• Sign up for food prep and/or set up help.

What an exciting month we have ahead of us. Big news ladies. Gary is coming back in two weeks! Then Allen will be here shortly after….. and our fabulous friend and SEAL FIT™ comrade, Joe, will be back in early June. All of this around the time of Greg Amundson’s visit.

We were also joined Tuesday by an old friend, Matt, who with his wife, Cassidy, were among some of our first visitors in the new box. Matt rocked the WOD and did the Sugar House Half Mile (a grueling UPHILL run!) in 3:12! Welcome back you two all the way from Washington, D.C., and Potomac CrossFit in Arlington, Virgina. So exciting you’re here for two months this time!

Although we said goodbye to Kinsey we know that she will be back soon. Kinsey has been a wealth of information to many of us following the paleo diet and to those wanting to change theirs. Kinsey graced us with a cookbook that we will all enjoy! Mahalo Kinsey. We look forward to your return!
