A word about Food!! Monday, Sept 27

“Diet” does not mean Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers. “Diet” is just what we eat.  And what we eat, especially when we are on a mission to be fit and healthy, is the most important piece of the pyramid.  This week we will be discussing our “Diets” and the two plans CrossFit recommends, the Zone and the Paleo.  To make your post WOD food choices even easier CrossFit UpCountry Maui will now be offering Zone snacks and meals to go at the box!  Hormone and antibiotic free boiled eggs, grass fed beef jerky, smoked salmon, fresh or dried fruit and almonds will be ready for you as you dash out the door!  Listen to what this 11 year old boy has to say about making the right food choices!

Monday’s program:
Warm up: practicing the clean, double unders and squats

WOD: FILTHY FIFTY! for time:
• 50 box jumps 24″
• 50 jumping pull ups
• 50 kettlebell swings
• walking lunges 50 steps
• 50 knees to elbows
• 50 push press 45/35
• 50 back extensions
• 50 wall ball shots 20/14
• 50 burpees
• 50 double unders

After cool down we will do the Mobility stretches:
Spine rotation and adductor wall stretches
