Do these look like nice guys to you? Yeah. They’re not.

Welp. The 2014 CFUM Battle of the Sexes came down to one rep on Friday’s last class of the evening. That one rep would’ve tied the score between males and females, leaving us in a utopia where everyone’s equal. However, that one rep was lost, and males shockingly came out ahead. Here’s the breakdown: Males edged out females by about four reps at 5:45 a.m. class. Penalty: 10 man makers. Females dominated males in both the 8 and 9 a.m. classes. Penalties were 20 six-point burpees and 20 weighted sit-ups (what? so easy!), respectively. Then males came back and took the 4:30 p.m. class (pictured above). Those testosterone-fueled cronies (no offense) wanted to make our sweet-hearted women do 20 clean and jerks at 95#. So mean! We turned them down, and they agreed to implement 20 wall balls as consequence. Then, with the score up and up at 2 wins for each gender, it all came down to 5:30 p.m. class, where that single rep thanks to luck turned the tables for the men. Women had to pay the price with 20 push-ups (way to get creative, guys). Let’s be detectives and look at who coached the classes Friday. Moral of the story: When Frank judges, men win; when I judge, females win. CFUM women demand a rematch!
