HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DANIEL!

Daniel, who turns 15 today, is kind of a big deal.  The student athlete was state champion for gymnastics and took first place in vault and rings. Competing for Kamehameha Schools Maui campus, he landed first place in long jump 400/200 for two consecutive years. Also, he was recently recovered from a broken ankle and became a member of Hawaii Allstars; he will compete nationally on their level 5 team. We know Daniel as one of Diana’s sons (they’re all pretty amazing). He attends CFUM afternoon classes regularly; and — not surprisingly — smokes the gymnastics movements of handstand push-ups, ring muscle-ups, pull-ups and dips. Daniel is gaining awesome strength in the power lifts, and his explosive power is skyrocketing on box jumps, and the C&J and snatch, among other exercises. Arguably even more impressive is Daniel’s humility, kindness and maturity at such a young age. He is always gracious and respectful to everyone around him; his inner strength is just as evident as his outer strength. We’re blessed to have such a great family at our box. Diana is one of our originals — she’s doing such a great job on the mom front! Happy birthday, Daniel!!
