Due to the pain popularity of Josh’s new MOBWOD, the class will launch weekly at 9 a.m. starting Thursday (today). The CFUM session, which will run from 30 minutes to an hour, is based on CrossFit Movement and Mobility, a certification course led by Dr. Kelly Starrett, author of “Becoming a Supple Leopard.”

Mobility is essential to an athlete’s longevity. Training intensely requires daily maintenance work to regain mobility.

Josh, who has bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a certification in CrossFit Movement and Mobility, among other credentials, will lead stretches, smashing, flossing, rolling and other techniques each week. His work uses resistance bands, foam rollers, lacrosse balls — even barbells, bumper plates and kettlebells.

Learn new tools for basic maintenance of your body. Treat body stiffness and achy joints. Implement stretches in your daily training.

With MOBWOD, there’s no way to lose. You’re being proactive about your health — and your body will thank you for it.

Sidenote: Don’t let Josh catch you making a #painface. Apparently it tightens neck muscles and it’s not optimal for mobility work. So, try to smile during the torture 😉
