Is this the face of harm or of healing? You decide at MOBWOD, the most important class of the week. The session, starting at 8 a.m., features mobility magician Josh, who’s got a knack for smashing and flossing, among other hurtful (but helpful) skills. Thanks for all your hard work, Josh. We love getting mobbed!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PATTI!

CFUM’s Patti/y club shows off exclusive gang sign

If you don’t know Patti with an “i” versus Patty with a “y,” you’ve made a grave mistake. Clearly, the club of CFUM Pattiys is elite, and you were never meant to be a part of it. Both Pattiys are super cool, but there’s only one celebrating her birthday Thursday. Our beloved Patti (right in photo), the superior Patti/y, is crazy talented. She’s a brain (thanks, Seabury Hall instead of Kekaulike), she’s beautiful (and taken, so that crazy stalker guy better back off) and she’s insanely fit. Besides being quite the speedster on 400-meter runs and PRing her clean at more than 140 pounds recently, Patti is an all-around skilled CrossFitter who daily yields solid performances. Moreover, Patti is super kind and down-to-earth; she has a great personality that makes people feel included. Did you know Patti with an “i” is also a closet comedian? She’s one of the funnier people I know. Thank God for that because Patty is super boring. Thanks for being a valuable asset to our community, Patti! We couldn’t have asked for a better fitness friend. And if we ever had to choose between you and Patty, you’d get our vote! Have an amazing birthday!

++ Creative license / executive decision and other official words allow me to ridicule Patty with a “y” since I’ve known her since kindergarten. The above statements do not reflect CFUM as a whole.
